The Wilmette Generations Awards Program is an exciting new program designed to recognize families who have lived or worked in Wilmette for at least 50 years. Families receive a certificate and are honored at an annual museum event. In order to be considered, families need to complete a nomination form.
All eligible families are encouraged to apply. There are two award categories, one for families here at least 50 years and the second one for families here at least 100 years. Submissions are accepted at any time during the year. The applicant must be a member of the Historical Society (annual memberships are $25 for seniors and students, $35 for individuals, and $50 for families / households).
To complete the application, return the following items:
- Completed nomination form and questionnaire (4 pages); this will also be used to prepare the award presentation
- Photographs of your family. Although photocopies or digital scans of photos are acceptable, the Museum particularly welcomes the donation of original photos; we are happy to supply you with a high-quality scan of each photo we put in our collection
- Membership fee (if applicable)
