The Museum and the Police Department will be holding our annual Open Houses, just one block apart. Visitors are invited to step inside the Museum's historic 1896 building for 30-minute tours of Wilmette history’s “greatest hits”. Docents will be on hand to present engaging, interactive exhibits and activities. Popular exhibits will be open, including an original Gross Point Village Hall jail cell.
Don't forget to also take a tour of the Police Department. See the lock-up and have mug shots taken of your children (please bring your own camera). Exhibits include various crime prevention tables, squad display, police equipment display, and more! We hope to see you at this free event for the entire community!
