There is no general entrance fee or fee to use the Research Room. Donations are always welcome.
The Museum is easy to find at 609 Ridge Road in the center of Wilmette. It is approximately 2.5 miles from the Edens Expressway (I-94) to the west and 2.5 miles from Sheridan Road to the east.
From the Edens Expressway: Coming from Chicago, exit the Edens Expressway on Lake Avenue, eastbound. (From the north, the exit is labeled "Skokie Highway.") Follow Lake Avenue approximately 2.5 miles to Ridge Road and make a right. The Museum is located at 609 Ridge Road on the west side of the street.
From Sheridan Road: Take Sheridan Road to Lake Avenue and go west approximately 2.5 miles to Ridge Road. Turn left at Ridge Road. The Museum is located on the the west side of the street.
Parking is available on Ridge Road or in a free lot behind the Museum. Wilmette is also accessible by public transportation, including CTA, Metra and Pace.
The public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible. Visitors requiring other accommodations should call to make arrangements.
