If you missed the Museum's December, 1999 - February 6, 2002 costume exhibit, here's another chance to stroll through ten decades of fashion moments from the Museum's extensive costume collection. Find out why the "Gibson Girl" look became the feminine ideal for women all over the country, despite the difficulties in achieving it. Explore the influences that technological advances, advertising, and world events have had on what we choose to wear. See how the fashion pendulum swings, sometimes overnight.
