The records in this series were created by three groups: The North Shore Young Mother's Club, started in 1927; The North Shore Mothers Study Group, founded in 1939 by women from the Young Mother's Club who wanted remain involved; and The North Shore Junior Mother's Club, formed in 1958 for mothers whose children were 6 years old and up.
