North Shore Harmonizers Women's Barbershop Chorus

The North Shore Harmonizers Women's Barbershop Chorus was organized by Evelyn Karma Larson Frisby as a special interest group of the Wilmette Woman's Club in 1952. Three years later, it became affiliated with the Wilmette Recreation Department after being asked to perform at the Wilmette Bowl during the Gillson Park Summer Concert Series. This non-profit, service-oriented group is dedicated to enjoying music. The Chorus presents two annual productions, a summer show at the Wilmette Bowl and a spring show which often involves dancing and elaborate themed costumes. The Chorus also performs by request and has appeared at the Chicago Civic Opera House and at Ravinia.
